The LaLiga sanctioned tourney, saw the Eagles soaring high in the sky by winning 2-0 to pocket R100 000 cash, gold medals and new kit.

“When we entered into this partnership, little did we know the extent of the passion and enthusiasm from the players and fans alike, not to mention the entertaining and highly skillful showcase of football the Soweto community was treated to over the three weeks of the KwaMahlobo tournament.
This was a memorable football experience for us and a great association formed with KwaMahlobo Games.”
1997 winners All Stars took home R20, 000 as runners up.
The KwaMahlobo Games are popularly known for having produced top PSL stars.
