Following intensive months of judging from all nine provinces, the roadshow ends on August 27 at Maslow Hotel, Sandton- for Gauteng regional finals.
Reigning Miss South Africa Ntandoyenkosi Kunene (Mpumalanga) as well as three former Miss South Africa title holders – Suzette van der Merwe (1990) and Claudia Henkel -2004, are on the judging panel.
The son of the footballing legend Marks “Go-Man Go” Maponyane, Mabs and radio presenter Bridget Masinga (who recently confirmed her divorce) are amongst the judges.
All finalists for 2017 will each receive a R25 000 cash prize.
Nicole Flint Miss SA 2009, will MC the Gauteng event.
The Miss South Africa pageant, presented by Sun International in collaboration with Cell C, makes a return to its traditional home the refurbished Sun City complex at the end of March, 2017.
