Making a reason. Reason conducting interviews during rehearsals at Bassline-Newtown today. He’s an opening act for international star JCole on Saturday 18, for the Castle Lite Extra Cold concert at Ticket ProDome.

Today, at Baseline-Newtown hip hop stars Reason and Kwesta were hard at work rehearsing.

Talking reasons. Hip Hop star Reason conducting interviews after his rehearsal at Bassline-Newtown today, as he prepares for the Castle Lite Extra Cold concert as an opening act for J. Cole on Saturday 18, at TicketPro Dome.

Speaking exclusively to this reporter after his rehearsal Kwesta says he looks forward doing magic on stage for his fans.

Looking worn-out the ‘Ngudu’ hit maker says: “Yeah man, I wanna entertain my fans since this will be my first full live band experience. Imagine that,” he said, as wannabes were vying for photo opportunity and his signature.

“For me being an opening act for one of hip hop stars sounds great and by the way whatever I do, is for my fans.”

J Cole, according to Simphiwe Majola from Capacity Relations is reportedly landing tomorrow (June 16).

Reason had this to say:” We look forward to great crowd since all tickets are sold out.  Obviously, this would phenomenal.”

Asked if there’s a chance he could open talks with J Cole on collab, he said:” Oh, yes that’s likely provided someone can offer me half a mil to do that on hindsight (jokingly) but did stress it is something he will look into.

We’re on the same level and with Cole’s over 20 000 fans, this is more fun.”

By the time we left the venue, Emtee had not arrived for his rehearsals.

The much awaited Extra Cold concert goes live at ProTicket Dome, June 18.

At the time of publishing all tickets were sold out weeks ago.

It’s about to be one Cole winter (pun very much intended)!
