Although a norm -that stats are not readily available- one sense that this market is overly saturated to such an extend companies use various marketing forms to attract the consumers attention.
With companies now re-packaging and re-designing their brands, SAB decided to unveil the latest Redds TV campaign as part of bringing a uniquely South African street carnival to life.
It comes in Dry, Bold and Original brands and available from Makro for R189.95 per case.
Shot over two-days in Jozi-Braamforntein, it features a central character, who whilst chilling with friends takes a sip from his Redd’s which results in a sudden burst of taste and ultimately opens up an eruption of colour and energy that is impossible to contain.
The transformation occurs as the Crisp taste of Redds is consumed and all the characters unleash their own carnival spirit.
“This advert is the next step in our brand evolution. Redd’s wants to support the emerging Carnival Culture in South Africa by helping enable street carnivals in various cities around the country. As a brand team we are very excited to embark on this journey, one which aims to celebrate the wonderful diversity of culture and talent in our beautiful country,” says Micah Naidoo, General Manager of Redd’s and FAB’s at SAB.
The 30-seconds Ad was conceptualized by Black River F.C. advertising agency.
