With the month of June declared Youth Month, the Gauteng Provincial government has activities planned, including a school public speaking competition for learners within the province, whose topic is “Youth in Contemporary Post-Apartheid South Africa” and issues they face, amongst others.
The two-day gathering begins today at Boksburg Recreational Hall.
From June 5, all identified Primary Schools will begin their debates followed by High Schools the following day at the same venue.

The public is encouraged to attend and it’s free. It is coordinated by the Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation’s in the Province.
