Modise back with Banyana as part of Olympics preparations but has to work harder

You will never buy experience, which is why we brought Bashin (Modise) back in the team.

This is according to coach Joseph Mkhonza after including Modise in the training squad for a camp that will start in Stellenbosch today. The camp is part of the preparations for the London Olympics.

“You will never buy experience, which is why we brought Bashin (Modise) back in the team. But she has to work hard like all the players to be considered for the Olympics. I have said it before, the door is not closed for any talented player who wants to go with us to the Olympics in July.

We want to take the strongest possible squad to London,” he said.

Modise said: “I would like to thank the technical staff for giving me another chance to play for Banyana Banyana again. I will never disappoint them.”
