Motoring enthusiasts ready themselves for the return of fast and antic cars fest

THE numbers don’t lie.

The Festival of Motoring was confirmed by all who attended the 2022 event to be one of the highlights of the annual South African motoring calendar.

Where else can you showcase so much variety, so many automotive brands and so much family-focused excitement on one dynamic platform?

Hosted once more at the home of South African motorsport, Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, the 6th instalment of the Festival of Motoring guarantees to be bigger and better than ever, including welcoming several new favourite car brands, new live, seat-of-the-pants experiences and enhanced entertainment for the whole family. The 2023 event will take place from 25-27 August.

With only a few spots remaining to participate as an exhibitor at this year’s Festival of Motoring, it’s worth considering that this carefully curated event has welcomed thousands of visitors through its turnstiles over the course of a weekend. The appeal of the South African automotive space guarantees that the makeup of festival attendees is one of the most varied, diverse, knowledgeable and, indeed, excitable of any similarly sized gathering in the country.

Festival of Motoring brings together industry leaders, experts, and enthusiasts from all sectors within the automotive space. Exhibitors at the event have the chance to connect and network with key decision-makers, potential partners, industry influencers and, of course, thousands of potential customers.

Powered by WesBank, the 2023 event will feature no fewer than 70 track-based events, one of the largest off-roading experiences ever built, 50 pitlane doors and more than 100 exhibitors.

“It’s a great honour and privilege to continue our longstanding partnership with the Festival of Motoring. The festival, powered by WesBank featuring FNB and MotoVantage – key players within the FirstRand group, remains the biggest auto show in the country. It’s an unmatched platform for enthusiasts to indulge in the best of what the automotive sector has to offer,” says Ghana Msibi, WesBank CEO.

“Aside from the attraction of supercars, modern and vintage classics, and next-generation models that will be headlining this year’s show, we look forward to engaging with visitors on how to navigate the car buying, financing and ownership journey,” says Msibi.

The layout of the Festival of Motoring, includes four designated visitor zones – Blue, Green, Red and Yellow – that each cater to different audiences allows your brand to cherry-pick what site and presence best suits your offering.

This includes the opportunity of live activations, fully immersive visitor experiences or even simply the ability to engage face-to-face with potential clients, customers and, indeed, new fans.

From large-scale new car reveals to product demonstrations and live interaction, FOM is simply the place to be seen.
