Asked what constituted the idea to host the fete at the resort that has gone under the knife, Sun City’s marketing manager Andrew Irumbsa said:” The Motsweding FM Birthday Bash will be hosted at Sun Park, a new multipurpose facility with an indoor events venue and outdoor space for hosting lifestyle events, music festivals and product launches.
It is an ideal venue for the event.”

With the SAMA awards now secured by the City of Durban, it remains to be seen whether Sun City, will use such events to draw back the fans to the complex that is famously renowned for hosting huge international mega shows.
