Four-time Grammy Award winners Ladysmith Black Mambazo, that has dazzled audiences on music stages worldwide, will host a one night only concert, at the newly revamped GRC.

An evening with Ladysmith Black Mambazo promises to be an exclusive and intimate evening of non-stop nostalgia, taking the audience on a journey through their many successes – both locally and abroad spanning the last five decades.

Instantly recognizable hits like ‘Homeless’, ‘Diamonds On the Soles of her Shoes’, ‘Nomathemba’, ‘Ofananaye’, ‘Lelilungelo’, ‘Phanse Emgodini’ and many others will provide an experience not to be missed.

The internationally acclaimed LBM was founded in 1960 and have performed in over 15 countries, to date.

“Gold Reef City is proud to host the iconic four time Grammy Award winners at our equally iconic theatre,” says Gold Reef City Marketing Manager, Gareth Kaschula.

“Their show further imprints Gold Reef City as the premier entertainment destination in the south of Johannesburg”, he adds.

“I am honoured and thrilled that I get to produce this very special anniversary celebration as the group has always been one of my life-long favourites and are so inspirational to our industry as a whole. They are proof that it’s not only about incredible talent, but with hard work, discipline and humility, you can truly reach for the stars and attain them”, says Collett Dawson, Owner of The CoLab Network, who are the producers of the show.

Founder Tshabalala took a decision last year to step back due to health matters. In so doing thus far, the group has, never and it will never, ever disappoint.

The show begins from 8pm.

Tickets range from R185 – R245 and can be booked online at www.goldreefcity.co.za
