SAMA30 production worth mentioning

IF there’s one thing the SA Music Awards should be applauded for this weekend, it’s the production. Yes, it seems they invested a lot of resources into it and it bore fruit.

From kwaito to house music, going down memory-lane was epic.

Legends Thebe, Oskido, Big Joe Nina, Boom-Shaka, KB Motsilenyane and of course Arthur Mafokate brought the house down, at the packed Gallagher Estate, on Saturday evening.

As expected Kabza De Small won multiple trophies, including Album of the Year  category with Mthunzi for their gong- Isimo. So did Tyla, the Grammy award winner.

The Truth or Dare singer took home the Ukhozi FM Female Artist of the Year, SANTAM Newcomer of the Year and Best Pop Album for her self-titled debut album, Tyla.

She was also honoured with the International Achievement accolade.
