Telkom celebrates its 12-year marriage with PSL, while Kwesta brought the house down!

As part of its 12-year celebration, both organisations launched the 2018/19 Telkom Knockout Tournament (TKO) campaign recently.

Last season winners’ Bidvest Wits open their account against Free State Stars, in a draw conducted at SuperSport offices.

“Soccer lovers are the true owners of the beautiful game,” says Braam Wessels Head of Sponsorships at Telkom.

“They’re fully immersed in the flow of the game whether by suggesting the starting line-up, which player to substitute or the tactics that should be employed on match day. Telkom is giving them an opportunity to also enjoy the feeling of pocketing prize money and winning wonderful prizes for predicting the score during TKO matches.”

This year’s edition comes packed with exciting and rewarding prizes for supporters.

“One of the most important things in today’s ever-changing world is to ensure that you remain close to the supporters and show appreciation for their loyalty. Working with our sponsors, we have to constantly look at ways of staying in touch with those who passionately follow the beautiful game.

We are thrilled at Telkom’s plans to bring this much-needed consumer engagement drive aimed at maintaining excitement for the game,” says acting PSL chief executive Mato Madlala.

To stand a chance to win weekly prizes and a grand prize of R1 million, Telkom customers (existing and new customers that purchase and activate a new prepaid Telkom SIM card) simply dial *123#, purchase a bundle on Mo’nice and predict the score.

What’s more, fans who predict the score correctly will get their bundle purchase multiplied by the highest score line each round of matches – guaranteed.

“What this means is that if the match between Team A and Team B, for example, produces 5 goals and is the highest score tally against other matches in that round, every Telkom customer who predicted the score correctly will get their purchase multiplied 5 times,” adds Wessels.
