Zwane takes aim at Bucs and promises to deliver

UNITY in action- as the slogan for the hugely awaited Soweto derby goes- would there be unity after 90m+?

As preparations for two of Soweto’s glamour outfits Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates unravel, one thing for certain someone’s job is under scrutiny.

Coach Arthur Zwane is under immense pressure and a loss to arch rivals could make his life a living hell, owing to what happened last week in Limpopo after losing 3-2 against Golden Arrows- as fans were baying for his blood.

AmaKhosi are fifth on the log and three points away from their next opponents Pirates.

The 49 year old Soweto born, says quitting is no option.

“As far as I know, I’m the head coach of Kaizer Chiefs and I’ve always been saying this that the club has always had a plan, we’ve got a plan,” he told media this week.

“I’m not going into this game worried about my job or worried about any other things, the focus is on playing this game and making sure the players apply themselves correctly.”

True, Chiefs always rise to the occasion against Bucs, and Zwane could be spared any embarrassment on Saturday afternoon.

But will action in unity prevail- fans await?

The game kicks off at 3:30- FNB Stadium.

Tickets are selling fast- so fans are encouraged to buy one early to avoid disappointment- after-all its payday.
