DEPUTY PRESIDENT Cyril Ramaphosa faces tumultuous times ahead of the ANC Elective Conference in December 2017.
And it’s gonna be ugly and test which mud would stick the most?
This week his private email was hacked (apparently by State apparatus) that also revealed private matters that involved extra-marital affairs.
Various opposition parties, the ANC and the public at large had a field day in office.
For the uninitiated, it also happened with current president JG Zuma when he was accused of rape, et al.
The question many would like the deputy president to answer is: if he did commit adultery why not accept and move on?
On the surface it may seem easy to respond to; but this could have a negative impact on him ahead of the much anticipated conference in December.
With sharpened swords and dirty tricks to dominate media in months to come, it will be seen how other contenders such as Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, Sisulu, Jeff Radebe, Baleka Mbete, Dr Zweli Mkhize will handle their own skeletons, if and when, they begin making rounds?
Pro-Ramaphosa group, including his wife are behind him.
In politics there’s nothing private- more so when holding the highest office in the land, DP.
