The 24 year old from Mkhondo-Mpumalanga, will compete against other contestants from all over the world.
Typical South Africans, they’ve sent messages of support and well-wishes to Kunene, a Bachelor of Education Honours graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand.
The current Miss World, Mireia Lalaguna of Spain, will crown her successor and our thoughts is Kunene should take it, since SA has not won the Miss World title in years’.

Ntando regards her parents, Christopher and Baby Kunene, as her first role models.
She’s also an official ambassador for the Cell C Take a Girl Child to Work initiative which is targeted at Grade 10 to 12 South African girl learners.
