Yes, South Africa I’m referring to Mafikizolo which will be sharing the stage for the first time after a long spell as part of the Amstel Golden Hour at this year’s tribute concert on Saturday 01 September at Moretele Park, Tshwane.
The AGH series is a collaboration with musicians, fans and beer consumers to acquaint themselves with each other during music events. “The collaboration with a string and wind instruments section, coupled with the world class lighting and sound had the fans screaming for more” is how is it has been described.
According to information from PR Company Twiga, Mafikizolo will be unleashing their latest new studio album soon as part of Amstel’s offering and partnership.
The duo now forms part of the 12th edition of the highly successful Amstel Golden Hour series of productions, and recognises the popularity of the duo in the area.
Now in its 15th year, the annual tribute concert features the likes of Jonathan Butler, Zahara, Letta Mbulu, Jonas Gwangwa, Ringo, Tsepo Tshola, Vusi Mahlasela, Zonke, Mi Casa, Lucky Dube’s band, Philip Tabane and DJ Choice.
