The 20 finalists will take center stage at Soweto Theatre on November 28, Soweto-Jabulani.
The beauty pageant that began as far back as 1979 and celebrates its fifth decade- seeks to identify First Princess, Second Princess, Miss Personality, Miss Photogenic and Peoples’ Choice Award.
Judges include Judith Masinga, former radio presenter and Miss SA runner-up in 2002, fashion editor and blogger Grace Mantjiu and songstress Judith Sephuma.
Reigning Miss Soweto Musawenkosi Gumede will hand over the reins to successful winner on the evening, who walks away with prizes to the value of R200 000.
It has produced well-known brands and businesswomen namely Basetsana Kumalo, Augustine Masilela, CEO Image Films Doris Msibi, entrepreneur, DJ and radio presenter Lerato Kganyago, amongst others.
Soweto TV will carry the broadcast.
