Abongiwe Gamede is missing!

THE Gamede family is desperately seeking the public’s assistance in locating their missing son, Abongwe Gamede.

The 26-year-old African male vanished without a trace on July 27, 2024, while traveling from his father’s home in De Deur to his mother’s residence in Boksburg via public transport.

Abongwe last contacted his mother on the evening of July 26, 2024, informing her, he was just five minutes away from her home in Groeneweide, east of Johannesburg.

Tragically, he never arrived. This prompted an immediate and exhaustive search by the distraught Gamede family, which continues to this day.

Fears are growing that Abongwe may have fallen victim to the prevalent human trafficking syndicates operating in the East Rand. We implore the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to the authorities.

Abongwe was last seen wearing black pants and a black jacket.

The family is pleading with the public for any information leading to Abongwe’s safe return.

Please contact the family representative, Mr. Thulani Gamede at +27 82 966 2730 or the Police.
