Unstoppable Mi Casa on song!

MI C ASA
New offering. Mi Casa has released their latest album titled Home Sweet Home. It goes to the market on Friday.

It is the bands third studio album and is packed with songs such as already popular Chokolat, My Sugar, Don’t Wanna Be Your Friend, I Love the Music and We own the Night.

Using their parking bay as a listening ‘get together’, the group leader J-Something boasted rightfully so, when he said they’re the first group to come up with the concept of ‘filling-up the stadium’ before Cassper Nyovest.

“We decided on the concept whilst in Cape Town but due to unforeseen expectations, it did not materialise,” he said to ululations from the few select guests.

“But we’re happy for Cassper that he learnt from us and took it further.”

Recently, the group returned from their successful whirlwind tour from London, Italy, Portugal and Canada.

Hitting the market on Friday, the album Home Sweet Home consists of over 20 guest artists such as Grammy Award winner and all time favourite Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Cassper Nyovest, Big Nuz, DJ Tira, Euphonik and the leading East African group Sauti Sol, amongst others.

“We were scared  to take the album out because it does not feature our faces in the cover as the norm. But after listening to the public reactions on the songs that’s when we realised it was time to make it available,” they agreed in unison during interview.

Mi Casa is made up of a great bunch of respectable guys, Joao da Fonseca ‘J-Something’, Sipho ‘Dr Duda’ Mphahlaza and Moshe ‘Mo-T’ Kgasoane.

If you’re lucky a ‘Mi Casa chocolat bar’ could be added when you purchase an album that consists of two discs.
