‘Africa’s Major’ makes its return to Sun City

THE NEDBANK Golf Challenge is back and the 40th anniversary of “Africa’s Major” will be celebrated with a world-class hospitality offering at Sun City, and an early ticketing incentive for golf fans as part of this milestone year in the history of this iconic DP World Tour event.

With no government Covid-19 restrictions on spectator attendance, the Nedbank Golf Challenge will make its full return for the first time since 2019 when the tournament delivered record attendance figures and sold-out hospitality.

“We’re extremely excited to be able to celebrate this milestone edition of the Nedbank Golf Challenge in a manner truly befitting this iconic golf tournament.

The hospitality offering this year will be unrivalled and we have a number of other exciting new initiatives which we will announce in due course and which will allow fans to enjoy every moment of the history of this incredible event,” said Ken Payet, Tournament Director of the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

Tying into the 40th anniversary theme for the November 10 – 13 tournament at the Gary Player Country Club, the first 400 tickets for each day will be sold at R40 each.

Once these are sold out the prices will be as follows:

Pro-Am Wednesday 9 November: R100 per person.

Round 1 Thursday 10 November: R250 per person.

Round 2 Friday 11 November: R250 per person.

Round 3 Saturday 12 November: R300 per person.
