Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini, is the new African National Congress Women’s League president, it was announced last night.
She ousted incumbent Angelina Motshekga at the elective conference held at St Georges’ Hotel, next to Irene- Pretoria.
Dlamini won by 1537 votes.
This was the first time since 2008 ANCWL has elected new leader, following postponements by the organization.
The elective was opened by president JG Zuma on Thursday.
It ends today.
