Bucs, Celtic PSL clash a humdinger!

For Bucs it’s a good start considering last season they finished second on log and lost out in the knock-out stages of CAF.

If their last weekend’s game up against AmaKhosi is anything to go by, Bucs will prove too difficult to contain this season. This is also augmented by the fact that the club made good signings and their style of play has been adjusted- thanks to the able technical team led by Rhulani Mokwena and head coach Milutin Sredojevic.

Legend has it that -its not how you begin- but how you finish!

“Players pushing each other‚ competing for places‚ looking to earn and deserve places in the team‚ is something that we were looking for,” once commented the coach with regards to new signings.

“And we believe this will increase and lift us so we can reach that 10 percent that we have needed to win trophies‚ or a league title.”

Bucs new signees complete the 2019/2020 football season list that stands at 31, featuring Austin Muwowo, Gabadinho Mhango, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Fortune Makaringe, Bongani Sam, Kabelo Dlamini, and Tshegofatso Mabasa.

As for Siwelele, last season they took four points off Pirates, winning 1-0 at home in August 2018 thanks to a strike from Bongani Sam, while the return game in Soweto in March 2019 ended 1-1 after Luvoyo Memela cancelled out Tshepo Rikhotso’s opener.

The Bloem side that was affected by on-and-off selling of the club, non-payment of salaries and instability amongst players, made amends on the pitch as they completed the season on eighth position.

They also made good signings as well for this season.

This clash will be too personal for both sides as they open the 2019/2020 PSL campaign.
