Busta Rhymes and Jason Derulo confirmed for DStv delicious festival, replacing ‘JJ’

AS previously reported quick and sharp replacements have taken place at the forthcoming DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival, Powered by LottoStar.

International rappers Busta Rhymes and Jason Derulo, will form part of the line-up this weekend, confirmed the organisers of the festival.

Both stars will join Thandiswa Mazwai, Sjava, Soweto Gospel Choir and Boom Shaka on Saturday 21.

Other acts features the likes of Khuli Chana, Toss, OkMalumkoolkat, Morafe and Cassper Nyovest.

Busta Rhymes and Jason Derulo replace Janet Jackson, who had to drop the festival following the death of his brother and Jackson 5 member, Tito Jackson, this past weekend.

“Following recent changes to the festival line-up, including Janet Jackson’s withdrawal due to her brother Tito Jackson’s recent passing, the festival organisers have worked tirelessly to ensure the experience remains extraordinary for fans.”

“We send our deepest condolences and support to Janet and her family during this time of mourning,” read a statement from the organisers.

On Sunday, 22 Jill Scott will share the stage with fellow SA acts.

DStv festival takes place at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on 21 and 22 September.
