Kolisi Foundation eyes partnership with MBSA

MERCEDES-BENZ South Africa (MBSA) proudly announces the partnership with the Kolisi Foundation. The partnership is a firm commitment to a shared vision and united purpose to see thriving and empowered communities in the Eastern Cape.

Commenting on the partnership, Abey Kgotle, Executive Director: Human Resources & Corporate Affairs, Mercedes-Benz South Africa says: “Beyond our core business activities, we are committed to social responsibility and pride ourselves in making tangible contributions in our communities.

The partnership with the Kolisi Foundation is more than just a collaboration; it is a promise – to stand together, to empower, to inspire, and to mould a South Africa where every individual, especially the youth, have the opportunity to thrive. This partnership underscores the company’s commitment to fostering enduring, positive change within society.”

The Kolisi Foundation, was founded in 2019 on the values of collaboration, learning through action, integrity and ubuntu. It has been instrumental in championing causes that resonate with its core focus areas of sport and education, addressing gender-based violence, and contributing to food security. Since its inception, the Foundation has impacted close to 4,000 children yearly through their education and sports programme and supports over 35 community kitchens with grocery parcels to change the narrative of food insecurity in underserved areas.

The partnership will leverage resources, expertise, and networks to drive meaningful change at grassroots levels to youth, women and children in located in the Eastern Cape.
