Nominations are open for Gauteng based teams and individuals who have excelled both on and off the field during the period between 1st of January 2011 and 31st December 2011.
During the roadshows communities will be taken through the nomination procedure and get chance to find out more about the awards including the objective to encourage excellence through sport in the youth.
A total of 10 ambassadors have been selected to assist in taking the concept of the awards to different communities in the province as part of the build-up to the 2012 Gauteng Sport Awards on June 30.
The roadshows will target busy taxi ranks from the 18th – 19th May as follows:
