He owned the popular security company Sidas in Denver, Johannesburg with branches all over the country.
The flamboyant Sidambe was known for lavish lifestyle, owning top range German cars and hobnobbing with influential politicians. He was a brother to Leeroy Sidambe, a well known entrepreneur who is close to SA’s celebrity Somizi “Som Gaga” Mhlongo.
The motive for the murder is unknown.
Attempts to obtain comments from family members and employees did not materialise at the time of publishing.
