Regarded as one of South Africa’s celebrated kwaito groups, TKZee that features the troubled soul Tokollo Tshabalala, Zwai Bala and Kabelo “Buga Love” Mabalane, will be live at the hip and happening swanky Taboo in Sandton on December 3.
They will be joined on stage by Riky Rick, rapper Shane Eagle, Major League, Joey Drumz, Chucktailored, VJ Jonno, and Funky Soul.
In the past TKZee was embroiled in tax issues with SARS which we hope has been settled.
“For every Stay Fresh Saturday event we host, we strive to keep the lineup fresh and authentic to the market. This year Head Honcho turns EIGHT, so this edition of Stay Fresh just had to be massive,” says event creator and organizer Nick Kaoma.
“The event will see top SA talent perform live on stage alongside younger guys coming up on the scene to mix it up a little. And with so many of us growing up listening to TKZee, that’s just the cherry on the top to deliver that old school element’.
We plan to make this the biggest one, perfect to kick off the festive,” he said.
With Benny McCarthy in the country, who knows he might be invited to share the stage with his boys and relive those memorable days, or kanjani?
