It is believed that Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre representatives are considering the logistics around a virtual Tupac tour, and one idea being discussed is a performance with other hip-hop stars such as 50 Cent.
But apparently a smaller tour for the trio in smaller venues is a more realistic option.
Ed Ulbrich – creative director of Digital Domain, the company that set up the Coachella performance – said: “To create a completely synthetic human being is the most complicated thing that can be done.
“This is not found footage. This is not archival footage. This is an illusion.
“This is just the beginning. Dre has a massive vision for this.”
There was no comment from both Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg camps.
