We could end up without fuel, if strike goes ahead!

Sasol claims it has put in contingency plans should the strike go ahead.

No, not because we’re out of fuel or its increasing but petrol attendants could be on strike.

This was confirmed by the Chemical‚ Energy‚ Paper‚ Printing‚ Wood and Allied Workers Union (Ceppwawu) that on Thursday they will embark on a nationwide protected strike, if the employers are not budging.

At odds is 9% increase the workers are demanding, whereas the employers are offering 6.5%.

More than 15 000 employees are expected to join the strike, according to Ceppwawu.

At the time of publishing it was still unclear if talks yielded anything positive.
