“Yeye” off to SuperSport!

On the move. “Yeye” to join SuperSport next season following a dreadful season at AmaKhosi.

The dreadlocked Reneilwe Letsholonyane has been linked with a move to SuperSport at the end of this season.

The move was initiated by former Kaizer Chiefs and now ‘Matsatsantsa’ coach Stuart Baxter, who made his intention clear that the likes of “Yeye” and others from Chiefs were his targets in the new football season.

On a rather cold move the club stated on social media that:”Thank you Yeye for your valuable contribution to Kaizer Chiefs. We have shared many great moments together. May you continue inspiring and being a good example where ever your paths leads. We would like to take this moment to wish you all the best in your future endeavours,”tweeted the official Kaizer Chiefs Twitter account.

Since the arrival of coach Steve Komphela at the Naturena side, the former Bafana Bafana star has been used as a sub and at times not getting a lot of game time as a result of injuries.

The 33-year-old midfielder joined Chiefs from Jomo Cosmos in 2008, and has been loyal to the Phefeni Glamour Boys, that for the first time in the history of local football, failed to lift or defend any silverwares this season.

At SuperSport, the Meadowlands born will play alongside former teammate Kingston Nkatha.

At the time of publishing “Yeye” was unavailable for comment.

For next season AmaKhosi has to offload deadwoods and acquire quality players, finish & klaar!
