Two young lucky boys Goitsemang Lengoene and Siyabonga Steven Ngwenya will join other youth’s from the global camps for the Blues Camp in May, this year at Chelsea Football Club, London.
They were drawn from 140 young learners drawn from Samsung SA recent Digital Home Appliance competition, as well as 45 from the Kwagasrand Provocation School.
“Samsung would like to congratulate these winners on this prestigious achievement, as well as say thank you for all the rest who entered this competition.
As a brand that is passionate about developing football in Africa, this training clinic provided the youngsters with an opportunity to improve their skills, with the assistance of some of the best coaches in the world,” says Matthew Thackrah, Deputy MD and Head of Consumer Electronics and IT Solutions at Samsung South Africa.
This initiative was run in conjunction with Chelsea Youth Football Club that saw football camps for children aged 8 to 13 held in several countries. The aim is to provide training for local youths to learn ‘The Chelsea Way’ from Chelsea Foundation coaches.
Samsung is the title sponsor of Chelsea FC.
