AKA makes time for the less previleged!

The award winning musician, has been supporting Impilo Child Protection and Adoption Services for the past five months.

Despite his demanding schedule, AKA continues to invest time and financial resources to projects close to his heart.

At the Boot Camp, participants were encouraged to complete a set of exercises in 45 minutes. Each participant was sponsored and all proceeds will go to the Impilo Child Protection and Adoption Services.

The boot camp was instructed by Michelle Rozowsky, Franchise Owner and Trainer of Adventure Boot Camp Norwood (ABC Norwood).

Currently, AKA is the principal sponsor of Brain Boosters Parenting Skills Programme, an Early Childhood Development Programme Facilitated by Educator, Lynn Forbes.

The programme covers the first year (0-12 months) in 10 monthly modules and is part of a 60 month Brain Boosters offering.

In April this year, the gold-teethed rapper partnered with Hype Magazine where portraits from his cover shoot were on sale and proceeds from these sales and the event will be given to Impilo Child Protection and Adoption Services.

This is his second fundraising activity for the organization.

The ABC Norwood is involved with the Community Vegetable Garden which will form part of the Mandela Day activities in partnership with NORA (Norwood/Orchards Residents Association).

A handover ceremony will take place next Friday July 18, at No.20 Leigh Avenue, Fairvale Ext 1.

It starts from 10am. AKA and partners will handover the cheque.
