Boys showing off at the Men's Health 'mini pageant'

Melrose Arch, popular with tourists and fashionistas, was the host and what a blast the boys had.

The annual Men’s Health is about male models ramping on stage an showing off their torsos and muscular bodddy!

They also feature on the selling national magazine Men’s Health, as part of the  package.

Guests were treated to a preview of some of the hottest summer trends from Diesel, Topman, Lyle & Scott, Guess, Kurt Geiger, Polo, Mr Price, Levi’s, Pringle, T.M. Lewin, Celio* and JX.

Stepping away from the typical ‘muted tones’, a number of brands opted for colour blocking.  A mixture of brights, pastels, florals and eye catching patterns were prominent.

There’s a return from last year’s hit: the blazer is now unlined in an unexpected print or bold colour.  Look out for the nautical-meets-military look for summer 2013. It looks cool…

Magazine’s Editor, Azeez Jacobs, says:”This season’s looks are all about clean lines and bold new colours, textures and prints. There are three or four clear themes for summer and it’s exciting to see how each brand has interpreted them.

For us, the Menswear Collection was an opportunity to bring the fashion pages to life and we were thrilled to present a show that reflected a variety of looks and key items that every man should own”.

Fashionistas can look forward to 100 summer trends, looks and tips in the October issue of Men’s Health, on sale from September 25 2013.

Soccer legend, ex-Chiefs, Pirates and Bafana striker Marks Maponyane’s son was a hit with our female partners.

Having jealously to deal with the oohs and aahs from the ladies, I reckon yours truly should go back to treadmill, stru!
