UPDATE: Stadium Management SA has confirmed two more days have been added to US star Chris Brown shows.
This follows the sold-out tickets for the initial show that was scheduled for December 14, 2024.
Due to popular demand, another show has been pencilled for 15, December.
Bertie Grobbelaar, CEO at SMSA says: “Chris Brown’s highly anticipated show at FNB Stadium on 14 December 2024, has officially sold out within just a few hours of tickets being made available.
Due to this overwhelming demand, a second date has been added, and he will now be performing again on December 15, 2024, at the same venue.
Tickets for the newly added show went on sales on 4 October 2024, via Ticketmaster,” he said.
The R&B powerhouse recently revealed that he would be making a long-awaited return to South Africa.
The two-day show is presented by Big Concerts and Y, the Live in Johannesburg.
Meanwhile, there have been back and forth on Brown’s domestic behaviour, with some organization calling for the show’s boycott.
He was arrested for physically abusing his former girlfriend Rihanna, and released but it seems some sections of the population aren’t convinced he has amended his wayward behaviour, and rehabilitated.
Unfortunately, Breezy is headed to mzansi to showcase his magical prowess on the stage, and not one, but for two shows.
