Cosmos were promoted ahead of Black Leopards, after both sides finished on seven points, however Cosmos had the superior goal difference.
According to the club owner Ephraim Jomo “Matsilele Black Prince” Sono, they promise to stay in the elite league.

It is not known whether “Bra J” will heed the call to find a new coach.
