Motsoaledi was admitted to Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria on Sunday and is “receiving treatment under supervision”.
“His condition will be reviewed within 72 hours‚” said the health department statement which also wished him a “speedy recovery”.
It is the minister’s second stay in Steve Biko Academic Hospital after he was admitted there in August 2013 for a planned surgical procedure.
