Jacob Zuma, FW De Klerk, Nelson Mandela, Thabo Mbeki, and Kgalema Motlanthe, will be presented with their exclusive Rarest Vintage Reserve each.
As this month marks the 20th anniversary of democracy in South Africa, it is only befitting that one of the world’s premium Irish Whiskey Jameson is honouring them by presenting each with a bottle.
For Madiba who is no longer with us (May His Soul rest in Peace) the bottle will be handed over to the family.
And it cost an arm and a leg. It costs a whooping R20 000.
“Jameson understands the importance of marking the country’s road to democracy and celebrates the fact that today the country is a new society built on a foundation of freedom and fairness,” says Jameson Marketing Manager Sibusiso Shangase.
The date and venue will be communicated at a later stage, according to Capacity Relations PR company spokesperson Simphiwe Majola.
