NEW DOCUMENTARY AS PART OF GLOBAL SOMEONELIKEME CAMPAIGN…
On Sunday December 1 the ‘Someone Like Me’ documentary, ‘My Sex Life and Everyone Else’s’ will air on MTV in South Africa at 21:15 on World AIDS Day.
This new documentary vows to break down all taboos and ask the questions young people have always been too embarrassed to ask about sex.
Taking a unique look at the sex lives of young people from around the world, self-shot by the participants themselves, viewers will get a never-seen-before view of sex today.
From losing their virginity and sexual experimentation to contraception and STIs, these young people were brave enough to discuss their most intimate experiences on camera.
In the run up to World AIDS Day on Sunday December 1, Durex and the MTV Staying Alive Foundation (SAF) have together launched ‘Someone Like Me’, a global sex education campaign led by young people for young people.
The aim of ‘Someone Like Me’ is to normalise the way sex is talked about and show young people that they are not alone and that ‘Someone like me’ has the same worries, concerns and questions about sex, highlighting that HIV could (and does) happen to ‘Someone like me’.
