Metro FM awards 2025 organisers reveal ticket prices for the ceremony

MUCH awaited ticket prices for the MetroFM Music awards 2025 are now available.

The awards ceremony will be followed by a music concert at the Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit on May 3, an evening celebrating black excellence!

Brought to you by the Motsepe Foundation and Mpumalanga Provincial Government, the music fest will feature an impressive array of performances by South Africa’s leading artists, culminating in a music festival with a stellar line-up, including:

  • DJ Maphorisa
  • Zee Nxumalo
  • K.O. and Leehleza
  • Black Motion
  • Master KG
  • Uncool Mc
  • Deep Sen
  • Luminous
  • Dj Vodka
  • Nelly Sphe
  • Dj Mpapa
  • Dolly Yama
  • TPZ
  • METRO FM’s Lamiez and LKG

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on SABC 1 and SABC+ from 20:00 and the concert will follow suit.

Fans are encouraged to get ticket(s) now at Computicket:

  • Phase 1 – Early Bird (until 6 April)
  • Lower Tier: R200 for 2 tickets – Upper Tier: R350 for 4 tickets – Golden Circle: R850
  • Phase 2 (6 April 2025 to 3 May):
  • Lower Tier: R150 for 1 ticket – Upper Tier: R250 for 2 tickets – Golden Circle: R850

This will be the last MMA’s to be held in Mpumalanga, so fans are encouraged to bring their best foot forward and have a JOL… which promises to be an unforgettable night of ‘Çrowing Greatness’, unparalleled lifestyle experience,  featuring a compelling line-up of music performances, dazzling fashion showcases, and more highlights.

There will be a pre-party on Friday, followed by the main awards and concert on Saturday. Sunday wraps-up with a music session headed by the ilk such as Paul Mtirara, Wilson “B” Nkosi and others.

As for security, the organisers have assured travellers there will be Police visibility, and other law enforcement agencies pre and post this mouthwatering event, in all major roads.
