Monique to dazzle fans at the Miss Soweto 2016 pageant!

House chart buster. Monique Bingham will appear at the 2016 Miss Soweto finals on December 3.

This follows a strong -20 beautiful and intelligent contestants who made it to the finals scheduled for December 3 2016 at Soweto Theatre-Jabulani.

Having undergone an intense period of coaching, rehearsals and public appearances since they were announced in October, the finalists will face industry actresses, Mapaseka Koetle – Nyokong, Thandy Matlaila and beauty editor Grace Mantjiu.

The lady of house music and international chart buster Monique Bingham, is the main act for the evening.

Here are some of the finalists:

Mamello Bale, a 21 year old who resides in Jabulani and is currently completing her final year in nursing at Ann Latsky Nursing college.

She would like to further her studies in this field and obtain a degree, majoring in psychiatry. In addition, would like to continue serving the community of Zola and start her own awareness campaign on mental health.

Hope Thandeka Maduna from Diepkloof Zone 2.

The 21 year old is currently employed as a call centre agent and is planning to complete her N4 certificate in Business Management. Hope also wants to pursue a full time career in modelling.

The 22 year old, Andrea Fox lives in Meadowlands Zone 1.

She wants to complete here studies and also own a production company one day. Also wants to start a feeding scheme for underprivileged children in and around Soweto. She is also passionate about the rehabilitation of young drug addicts and would like to empower them with life skills to enhance their future.

Lerato Cindi is 23 years from Zola.

She holds a diploma in Biomedical Technology and wants to further her studies and obtain a Masters in the same field. She would also like to be involved in organising events for talented kids around Soweto and provide them with a platform to showcase their creativity.

Actor Thato Molamu and Refiloe Motsei are co-MCs.
