A proud Vhenda, Fulu Mugovhani won the
Best Actress award for her role in Ayanda.
The Africa Movie Academy Awards 2016 were held over the weekend in Nigeria, were other SA representatives won as well.
“Oh… It’s just me with my AFRICA MOVIE ACADEMY AWARD! I’m so honored and grateful for this, words cannot begin to explain it,” read her Instagram post.
During her interview on Metro FM this morning with Mo-Flava, Fulu says she was happy and ecstatic for winning her first major title since making it into the film and acting industry.
She also appears on soapie Scandal on Etv.
Other winners included sweethearts Maps Maponyane and Nomzamo Mbatha, who were nominated for their roles in Tell Me Sweet Something.
