Soweto Social Marquee-owned by budding entrepreneurs to debut at this year’s Gauteng Summer Cup

So it won’t be faux pas to hobnob with Sowetans or Jozi elites…

Racing off November 30 at the Turffontein race course, Jozi- it promises ‘eye-catching, mind-bending, taste bud-tickling, grin-inducing, good-weird, did-that-really-just-happen entertainment fun…’

The Soweto Social Marquee is the brainchild of ‘childhood-sweethearts‘ Matthews Baloyi (Nippy Avenues), Lucky Dhabula of Soweto Meat Lovers and media entrepreneur & MD of Wise Communications Frans Mashao, who are the main founders of the marquee that will debuting on the race day.

The “three-musketeers” boast astounding entrepreneurial skills among themselves for they own their respective businesses ranging from décor, catering to communication and photography.

According to Mashao, they also planto take up the challenge of investing in owning properties within the horse racing hospitality.

Entertainment will be provided by local comedian Pele Pele, Jozi FM’s Mpho Mhlongo, and Soweto’s new talented live band Kitchemess, as well as CEOs and Soweto TV celebrities on the day.
