Sunlight brand dominates 2022 Product of the Year

THE 2022 Product of the Year SA has announced winners.

Over nineteen categories were entered- showing South Africa’s most innovative consumer product awards. 

Unilever’s top selling brand Sunlight took most of the accolades on the evening, followed by Samsung and Nestle.

Established over 30 years ago in France, Product of the Year currently operates in over 40 countries with an effort to guide consumers to the best products in their market and reward manufacturers for quality and innovation. 

This year, Margaret Hirsch from famous Hirsch brand, was invited to be the Ambassador of Product of the Year South Africa, unfortunately she could not attend.

“There is better ambassador for Product of the Year than Margaret as she is a highly recognisable brand herself as well as being passionate about the Consumer Goods industry,” says Edith Venter, General Manager of Product of the Year South Africa, who took over the management of the awards in 2020.

“Thank you to Margaret for her invaluable assistance in obtaining the incredible entries for 2022. We are very excited to announce all the winners of the 2022 Product of the Year innovation awards,” said Venter. 

The awards were held in Parktown, Jozi, on Tuesday evening, accompanied by an orchestra that serenaded guests who were dressed to the nines.
