The tourney is the biggest soccer development programme for kids under 10s and 12s globally. It also gives players the opportunity to showcase their skills to soccer scouts with the talented players being recruited into development structures of that team.
For leisure, in partnership with SASFA, Department of Tourism and Kruger Park, they will reward two players with a trip to one of the Department of Tourism’s National Parks.
The prize includes a fully-paid trip for 2 parents and 4 kids.
This is the second year that the Department of Tourism has partnered with the SA Schools Football Association (SASFA) for this under 12s tournament.
2016 national winners Benny’s Sports Development who went on to represent the country in France last year -from Limpopo Province- did not qualify this year.
