WITH RWC Springboks having kicked off their rugby season, having outmuscled The Barbarians in last week’s clash at Gqeberha, its all system go for the 2026 season.
Supporter of Boks, Airlink, has confirmed it will be the official domestic carrier of the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry for 2026 season.
Boks face New Zealand this August and September in a series of men’s and women’s blockbuster Test matches in SA, also inclusive of four elite provincial matches.
The deal package has been curated to carry the player squads, coaches, management and support staff of the competing national teams between their various South African matches.
“Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry is set to produce thrillers for the competing teams and thousands of attending fans.
Airlink will be providing them with memorable travel experiences, great value fares, onboard hospitality and convenient flights to the match cities among the 48 destinations we serve throughout Southern and Eastern Africa as well as St Helena island,” said Airlink’s CEO, de Villiers Engelbrecht.
The calabash and 2010 World Cup final host FNB Stadium, next to Soweto, will host Boks versus All Blacks on September 5.
Boks will also play final Test match in the USA.
