Premiership champions Amakhosi will host fierce Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates in the first leg of their MTN8 semi-final on Saturday, with ‘Yeye’ relishing the Soccer City showdown.
“We just finished training and everyone is motivated for the game on Saturday,” Letsholonyane told his club’s official website.
“It is the biggest game in the South African football calendar and everyone including the supporters is looking forward to it.
“We respect Orlando Pirates as a team but we believe in ourselves and we are focusing on our strengths as a team going to this game. We always go out to give our best in each and every game we play and it will not be different come Saturday.”
The Bafana Bafana ace added that he has faith in his teammates.
“I am happy with the squad that has been assembled for this season. I believe in each and every member of the team,” he said.
“The decision to add players to the squad is made by management. Of course I think we have a team to compete for sure.”
Meanwhile, Platinum Stars and Bidvest Wits will contest the other last-four duel at Rustenburg’s Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Sunday.
