Now the time is ticking as Cassper Nyovest prepares for a boxing match against musician and actor Anga “NaakMusiQ” Makubalo.
The celebrity boxing exhibition has been scheduled for Sun City from April 8-11, with their fight happening on Saturday, April 9.
Both celebrities are hard at work fine tuning the jabs and hooks not forgetting to burn those kilos – that got Cassper in the news during his work out in preparation against the controversial YouTuber Slik Talk in a fight they dubbed ‘Fame vs Clout’.
Known for ‘hitting below the belt’ the Mahikeng born Cassper said in tongue in cheek: “Four weeks until we put on a show. Shut down all the non-believers. Can’t wait to hear the excuses,” he wrote on his Instagram.
“Weird fight between Tsibip and Slik talk last night (previous fight with Slik Talk). Anyway…8 April Sun City! I’m not gonna talk too much, sizobona nge mini enkulu.. #NaakVsCass #NaakOUT,” he said in a tweet.
The organisers of the boxing exhibition have released more tickets following the easing of Covid 19 alert level 1 regulations, that would allow 50% of the venue capacity.
Fans were disappointed when the R9 000 tickets were sold out in just two hours, a sign of keenness from the public.
